PalPal to separate from eBay next year

(AGI) New York, Sept 30 - EBay has announced that it willseparate from PayPal, its payment platform, from the middle ofnext year. The idea is to transform PayPal into a separatecompany, as activist investor Carl Icahn has been advocating,into a company traded on the stock market. CEO John Donahoe hadinitially opposed the move saying that PayPal was integral toeBay, but has since changed his mind. (AGI) (AGI).
