Ghana and Norway extend Oil for Development Programme

(AGI) Accra, Mar 16 - Ghana and Norway have agreed to extendthe Oil for Development Programme for another five years.Norway is to provide funding to the value of 3.5 million euros(31 million krone) for a programme that will help to reducepoverty through responsible exploitation of oil resources. Theprogramme will span 2015 to 2019. Ghana and Norway first becamepartners in the energy resources sector in 2008.. .
