Egypt to ask IMF for first 'Article IV' since Mubarak

(AGI) Cairo, Sept 13 - Egypt will ask IMF delegates for aeconomic assessment in the hope of improving the country'simage before the Egypt Economic Summit, to be held in Sharmel-Sheik in February, the finance ministry said in a statement.The meeting with IMF experts, regarding Article IVconsultations, initially scheduled for 2011, was long delayedbecause of the turmoil in the country and the fall of Mubarak.The finance ministry statement added: "We hope that the IMFreport comes out in favour of Egypt and contributes to thereturn of foreign investment flows". . .
