Scala String Quartet plays at Copenhagen museum

(AGI) Copenhagen, Oct 28 - The Scala String Quartet gave aconcert at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek museum in Copenhagen.Francesco Manara and Daniel Pascoletti were on violin,Simonides Braconi on viola and Massimo Polidori played thecello. The concert was organised by the Italian embassy and theItalian Cultural Institute, with Copenhagen Metro Team, a jointventure of Italian companies and workers building the Danishcapital's new underground system. The quartet performed piecesby Puccini, Verdi and Tchaikovsky before an audience of morethan 400. They included Danish authorities and personalities,members of the diplomatic corps and of the business andcultural community. (AGI). .
