Bacchiglione and Po rivers on flood alert
(AGI) Rome, Nov 16 - The civil protection department in theVeneto region is continuing to monitor several provinces inorder to keep the effects of the bad weather under control.Flood alerts have been issued. The Bacchiglione and Po riversare under special surveillance. In the province of Vicenza, theBacchiglione burst its banks in the city itself at 2 a.m. localtime (5.30 metres), and is currently causing flooding atLongare (4.80 metres).
