France launches second round of strikes against IS in Iraq

(AGI) Paris, Sept 25 - French fighters have carried out asecond round of airstrikes in Iraq in a bid to stop the advanceof Islamic State (IS) jihadists, the French governmentannounced. A first round of attacks by French Rafale fighterswas carried out last week. French Defence Minister Jean-Yves LeDrian said the anti-IS attacks had Iraq as their firstpriority, but did not discount the possibility of similaraction in Syria. . .
