(AGI) Rome, March 1 - The Saturday afternoon matches of theItalian Premier League were down to four after postponingParma-Genoa. Lazio and Sampdoria obtained the most outstandingwins while Palermo-Empoli ended even and Cesena defeatedUdinese on its home turf. Lazio consolidated its fourth placein the ranking after beating Sassuolo in an away match, inwhich Lazio never lowered its guard, fully deserving itsvictory. Pioli's team scored its first goal in the first halfof the match thanks to Felipe Anderson. In the second half,Zaza missed an opportunity to tie the score when Klose, afteronly a couple of minutes of play, smashed a ball from the rightwing into the goal with a header, scoring 2-0. Marco Parolothen closed the match at 0-3. Sampdoria risked its placing in amatch against Atalanta in Bergamo, but ended up going home withan important victory, leaving Colantuono's team infourth-to-last position in the ranking. Atalanta took the leadin the first half with Guglielmo Stendardo but, in the secondhalf, Sampdoria tied the score with Muriel on an assist byOkaka. Eto'o, whom Mihajlovic lined up from the start for thefirst time, did not give a brilliant performance despite hiskick at 37', which was shily saved by Sportiello and resolutelypicked up again by Okaka, who scored the winning goal.Palermo-Empoli finished with a tie score at the Barberastadium, despite several ineffective goal opportunities on bothsides, with the Tuscan team nonetheless succeeding to budge theranking. Cesena got an ego-boost by beating Udinese, furtherdowngrading it in the ranking.
