Mr Mancini will use video presentations to illustrate thestructure and features of the exhibition site and mega-eventthat expects to attract 20 million people to Italy over thecourse of six months. The Russian Federation is participatingin Expo with a pavilion on the theme of "Growing for the world.Cultivating for the future". In line with the overall theme of"Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life", this reflects thecontribution to global food security that Moscow has made andwill continue to make to the future of humanity due to itsscientific and agricultural heritage and enormous potential.The pavilion tells the stories of many internationally renownedRussian scientists, whose work has contributed to thedevelopment of agriculture and food security. It alsohighlights the wealth of natural resources and the country'svariety of culinary traditions.
