(VELINO) Roma, 8 Oct - Italy will be the guest of honourcountry at the seventh edition of "Design Week" Mexico, to beheld Oct. 21 to 25. This event is the most important in theindustry in Latin America, with each edition attractingthousands of visitors and professionals. In addition, this yearMexico City has been nominated for the world design capital in2018. The "Design Week" is organised in different sections,which are held in numerous venues around the capital. Seminars,conferences, B2B meetings, exhibition spaces and thematic paths"give the opportunity to Italian and Mexican architects,businessmen and designers to meet and present their products tothe general public at the event", said the website of theinitiatives for the Year of Italy in Latin America, of which"Design Week" is part. From this edition, a Mexican state isexpected to participate every year. In 2015 it is Chiapas. Inthis regard, last August craftsmen from various localcommunities, together with Mexican and Italian designers,worked on the project "Vision and Tradition", transformingtraditional craft products into modern objects, but retainingtheir original soul.
