(VELINO) Roma, 18 Dec - The third Italian Jobs Fair has beenheld in Osaka, Japan. The event, organised by the Consulategeneral and the Department of Italian Studies of OsakaUniversity, is an opportunity for Italian and Japanesecompanies to meet young students of the Italian language andculture. Managers of engineering firm MS Japan Service, of theFoodliner group and of Yamamoto Ltd. explained what theircompanies do and what type of staff they need. The studentslater had a chance to talk with the speakers in privatemeetings. The Italian Consulate has scheduled a similar eventon Dec 22 at the Department of Italian Studies of KyotoUniversity, where Bulgari (fashion, jewelry and hotels), JET(food and wine) and Brevini Japan (engineering) will presenttheir activities to students of the Italian language andculture. These events, said Italian Consul Marco Lombardi, "areintended to make it easier for Italian companies to operate ina culture that is very different from ours, and at the sametime to make Italy more attractive for Japanese companies." vel.
