ITALIAN EMBASSY OPENS DOORS FOR CHILE ART FAIR

(VELINO) Roma, 25 Sep - The "Feria Ch.ACO" of Santiago deChile, one of the most important contemporary art events in theregion, is hosting a special event this year on Sept. 25, whenthere will be a visit to the gardens of the Italian embassywith a preview of an installation by ceramist Richard Munizmade for the Fiera. In addition, there is a path through the"olive grove of memory" and among other sculptures by Italianartists such as Bruno Liberatore, Umberto Mastroianni, and AlexCaminiti. The embassy has organised the event in associationwith the Italian Cultural Institute (IIC) in Santiago. TheFiera is now in its seventh edition and in 2015 will see a over1000 works from 30 Chilean, U.S., European and other LatinAmerican galleries. On top of these are 10 Chilean art projectschosen for their artistic proposals and management models,which give the third edition its "PopUp Spaces". Sixteenpublishing houses, one of which is Italian, will also be there,presenting the best magazines and books on art, architectureand design. Finally, as usual, there will be debates betweenleading figures in the art world. This year will see DamianOrtega, Graciela Sacco, Pablo Helguera, Pablo Leon de la Barra,Voluspa Jarpa and Catherine Millet. vel.
