Italian companies take part in China investment fair
(AGI) Beijing, May 28 - Italy is going on show in the Chinesecity of Chongqing where 12 Italian companies, including Fiat,will take part in the 18th China Chongqing InternationalInvestment and Global Sourcing Fair. The fair, which takesplace from Thursday May 28 to 31, is organised by the ChineseMinistry of Commerce and Chongqing City Council, with the StateCouncil's Three Gorges Project Construction Committee and theChina Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Companies in the Italian pavilion include Fiat, GSE,which produces railway industry machinery, and Sinoitalia, aconsulting agency. A forum will be held on Friday oncollaboration projects between Italy and Chongqing, at theLiangjiang development zone in Chongqing, which will includepresenting investment opportunities for Italian companies insouthwest China and in Italy for Chinese companies.
