INTERNATIONALISATION ROADSHOW IN REGGIO CALABRIA

(VELINO) Roma, 25 Sep - The Italian businessinternationalisation roadshow will be in Reggio Calabria onSept. 28. The day will include meetings with publicinstitutions, private organisations, businesses and majorfinancial players. The event is sponsored and supported by theForeign Ministry and the Ministry of Economic Development(MISE). It has been organised by the Italian Institute forForeign Trade (ICE) in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerceof Reggio Calabria, the local event partner. The formatincludes an introductory session with Secretary General of theMinistry of Foreign Affairs Michele Valensise and VicePresident of the Chamber of Commerce of Reggio Calabira,Giovanni Santoro. Afterwards, there will be a technical meetingin which representatives of the institutional and financialworlds will outline the tools and strategies to supportbusinesses on world markets and will talk about the successstories. From 12.30 pm to 6 pm, businessmen will meet withrepresentatives of all the organisations, including the ForeignMinistry and MISE, Italian export credit agency SACE, foreignbusiness promotion company SIMEST, ICE, the Chamber ofCommerce, Calabria Region, employers' organisationConfindustria, Italy Business Network and Alliance ofCooperatives. During the B2B meetings, experts from ICE willanalyse the individual activities to develop a customisedmarketing strategy. Participation in the Roadshow and themeeting with the experts will provide access to the granting ofvouchers for the acquisition of a Temporary Export Manager, ifin line with the requirements of the Decree of the Ministry ofEconomic Development of May 15, 2015. The initiative sees allstakeholders - public and private - of the "Italian System"together for the first time engaged in a joint medium-termaction throughout the country. More specifically, publicinstitutions, private organisations and businesses and the mainfinancial players will meet companies on the issues ofinternationalisation. Over the two years 2015-16 there will bestops at Genoa, Cagliari, Monza, Catania, L'Aquila, Cosenza,Bergamo, Potenza, Vicenza, Pisa, Reggio Calabria, Novara,Forli, Cremona, Como and Campobasso. Each event will open witha plenary session, with the participation of experts in thefield of internationalisation, who will present opportunitiesand tools for access to foreign markets. The businesses,according to a fixed timetable, will then meet specialists inthe course of the day to develop ad hoc plans. vel.
