(VELINO) Roma, 23 Jun - The 'Verano Italiano' (Italian Summer)in Buenos Aires includes a new event. Italian pianist CinziaBartoli will be playing a concert on June 25 at the Sala deCamara de la Usina del Arte. The event, organised by theItalian Cultural Institute in Buenos Aires, will offer music byMozart, Chopin, Puccini, Verdi, Schubert and Liszt. CinziaBartoli was born in Savona and was awarded a diploma withhonours at N. Paganini conservatory in Genoa. She laterachieved the Diplome Superieur d'enseignement at the EcoleNormale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris and took furtherspecialised courses with P. Badura-Skoda and S.Askenase at theAccademia Musicale 'O.Respighi' in Assisi and from 1986 to 1990with Ilonka Deckers in Milan. During her career, Ms Bartoli hasreceived national and international prizes and been a member ofthe jury for many competitions. She regularly performs soloshows as well as with chamber music ensembles or orchestras.She gives master classes in Europe, the United States and SouthAmerica and travels on music tours across the world. The'Verano Italiano' event was launched in 2013 as a jointinitiative of the Italian Embassy in Buenos Aires, the ItalianCultural Institute, the Italian Government Tourist Board(ENIT), the Italian Trade Commission (ICE) and Argentina'sCulture Ministry. The event intends to celebrate Italiancinema, music, opera, art and wine and food. vel.
