BUENOS AIRES AND FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA SIGN AGREEMENT

On behalf of Italy theagreement was signed by the President of the Regional Council,Franco Iacop who was awarded the title of "DistinguishedVisitor" to the capital, and for Argentina by the FirstVice-President of the Assembly, Cristian Ritondo. In his speech to the twin ceremony, Italian ambassadorto Argentina, Teresa Castaldo, stressed that these initiativescontribute to the strengthening of relations between the twocountries, and that it was no mere coincidence that they havebegun with a special region rich in history, tradition andculture such as Friuli Venezia Giulia.
