"VERANO ITALIANO" 2015 LAUNCHES IN BUENOS AIRES

(VELINO) Roma, 28 May - The Coliseum Theatre in Buenos Aires ishosting a presentation press conference of the third of editionof the "Italian Summer". The event will be attended by theMinister of Culture of Buenos, Aires Hernan Lombardi, and theItalian ambassador to Argentina, Teresa Castaldo. The ItalianSummer, first held in 2013, is a joint initiative of theItalian embassy, the consulate-general in Buenos Aires, theItalian Cultural Institute (IIC), the Italian Tourist Board andthe Italian Institute for Foreign Trade, as well as theMinistry of Culture of Buenos Aires. The aim of the event -like last year extended to other cities across the countrythanks to the contribution of the Italian diplomatic-consularnetwork - is to celebrate Italian film, music, opera, art, foodand wine. It will also discuss "Italian Graphics of the 20thCentury" with a three-part exhibition looking at the lyrical orgeometric abstraction of Eugenio Carmi, the informal surrealismof Gianni Dova and the "sporting" presentational art of MarcoLodola. The works of the three artists will be accompanied bythose of other great masters who have explored the field ofgraphics, using various techniques, from lithography toserigraphy. vel.
