'The Mediterranean needs a Marshall Plan', says Italy

(AGI) London, Sept 14 - The Mediterranean area needs a sort ofMarshall Plan to re-launch, also economically, the countriesbordering on the Basin, said Italian Foreign Minister, PaoloGentiloni, while attending a conference at Chatham House, inLondon. Mr Gentiloni took the opportunity to announce anItalian independent high-level project, the Rome MediterraneanDialogue (MED) initiative.
