(AGI) London, March 9 - The international tour of PierfrancescoDiliberto, the Palermo-born writer and film director betterknown as "Pif", visited London to present "The Mafia Kills Onlyin the Summer". It featured in the Cinema Made in Italy filmfestival which closes on Monday, March 9. The 2013 film was abox-office success and won the David di Donatello prize forbest debuting director in 2014 for the former MTV presenter, and last year's European Film Award for best comedy. Sunday's showing was sold-out, "a truly surprising result", Piftold the Italian news agency AGI. He said: "The problem is thatabroad foreigners always think of the Mafia as being connectedto the film 'The Godfather'; they imagine a Mafia boss wearinga Sicilian-style cap, a picturesque image that is overturned inthis film, in which the Mafia is interwoven with everydaylife." The festival was organised by the IstitutoLuce-Cinecitta' and the Italian Culture Institute in London. . .
