Paris ready to host exhibition on Perugino

(AGI) Paris, Sept 12 - The Jacquemart-Andre' museum in Paris isready to host the exhibition "Perugino, teacher of Raphael". Itwill be the first monographic display orgnanised in France aspart of the cultural events set up for the semester of Italy'spresidency of the EU. The exhibition, sponsored by the Italianembassy in Paris, will be open until January 19, 2015. Italy'sambassador to France, Giandomenico Magliano, attended theinaugural review, along with Vittoria Garibaldi, generalcommissioner of the exhibition, and the curators and directorsof the Italian museums involved. The works of Perugino, one ofthe most original artists of the Italian Renaissance, whichgreatly influenced painting styles in Europe at the time, willalso be focused on at a conference to be held on Friday at theItalian Institute of Culture in Paris. .
