Autonomy of Scala Theatre and S. Cecilia confirmed
(AGI) Milan, Oct. 1 - The Minister for Cultural Heritage andTourism, Dario Franceschini, has signed the ministerial decreeestablishing the criteria for the recognition of 'specialautonomous status' for Milan's La Scala Theatre and the SantaCecilia Academy in Rome. The minister said this was animportant step forward in rewarding the best foundations inItaly's operatic and symphonic world. .
