(VELINO) Roma, 12 Jun - The third Festival of Italian Music is getting ready to kick off in Argentina. It will be held in La Plata, in the province of Buenos Aires, on 25 November. The event is open to anyone interested in singing either well-known songs or new compositions of Italian origin. The Festival is intended to promote the vocal talent of participants, with the aim of building a cultural bridge through music, encouraging and promoting Italian songs in Argentina and South America. The event is part of the programme of activities developed for the "Corredor Productivo Turistico Cultural Italia Argentina" (CPTCIA), which has 87 member organisations and is run by the "Agencia de Coordinacion Territorial Italia Argentina" (ACTIA). The Festival will be hosted, as it has been for the previous two years (7 and 8 October 2015 and 8 and 9 October 2016), by the Teatro Coliseo Podesta, with the sponsorship and participation of the Municipality of La Plata, the Direccion de Colectividades, the Italian Embassy in Argentina, the Italian Consulate General in La Plata, the Italian Cultural Institute in Buenos Aires, the Apulia Region, C.G.P.M., Euroshoword-Roma, ENIT (Istituto Nazionale Italiano del Turismo), the Dante Aligheri Society in Buenos Aires, the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, the Catedra Libre del Corredor Productivo Turistico Cultural Italia Argentina, Associazione Pugliese de La Plata, the Centro de Estudios de Lengua y Cultura Italiana/Learn Italy La Plata, the Asociacion Para la Difusion de la Cultura Italiana and the public and private member organisations of CPTCIA. vel
