(VEE) INDIA, CARLO PIZZATI'S 'THE EDGE OF AN ERA' IN NEW DELHI

(VELINO) Roma, 9 Jun - The Italian Embassy in New Delhi has organised the presentation of Carlo Pizzati's book 'The Edge of an Era' at the India International Centre next 20 June. The book contains three conversations betwen the author and Indian intellectuals. In the hall of the Hotel Bauer in Venice, critical theorist Homi Bhabha talks about the crisis of the Western paradigm, with a look also at what is going on in America. With Pankaj Mishra, in a house overlooking the Bay of Bengal, he explores the intellectual discourse between Asia and Europe. At Mumbai's Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, political philosopher John Gray analyzes Europe's current political crisis and the ascent of Fascism and reminds us that the major driving force of history is human folly. vel
