(VELINO) Roma, 1 Jun - A documentary on the life of Raphael, born Raffaello Sanzio, from his birth in Urbino to his periods in Florence and Rome, will be screened from 15 to 18 June in 10 Colombian cities. The documentary, which was produced in 18 months by a team of 100 professionals, traces the life of the great painter through 70 of his masterpieces and the contribution of world renowned experts, including Vincenzo Farinella (associate professor of Modern Art History) for the period in Urbino, Antonio Natali (art historian and former director of the Galleria degli Uffizi) for the period in Florence and Antonio Paolucci (former director of the Vatican Museums) for the period in which he worked at the Vatican. The documentary also incorporates scenes taken from the TV serials produced in the '70s. The screenings have been organised also thanks to the cooperation of the Italian Embassy and Cultural Institute in Bogota. vel
