(AGI) Rome, June 7 - Italian music and film are back in Mozambique in Maputo. In the week following Italy's Republic Day on June 2, there will be several Italian cultural events, this year centred on classical music and contemporary film. The event opened with a concert by pianist Daniele Riscica in the Avenida Theatre. The young Italian musician played pieces by Schumann, Liszt and Chopin. On Tuesday, a film festival began which is showing 11 recent Italian films, including "Chiamatemi Francesco" by Daniele Luchetti, "Tale of Tales" by Matteo Garrone and the blockbuster "Quo Vado?" with Checco Zalone. The first film is at the Avenida Theatre, and the others at Spazio Italia, a multifunctional facility used to promote Italy and opened recently in Maputo. There will also be activities for young people, organised with the "Giovanni Falcone" Italian School in Maputo. (AGI) .
