(VELINO) Roma, 21 Jul - A "kick-off meeting" for the 8th World Water Forum, the main international event on water resources, has been held in Brasilia. The World Water Council (WWC) organises the forum every three years to allow communities and policymakers to discuss economic, social, and environmental issues linked to water and propose solutions locally and worldwide. The forum will be held in Brasilia between March 18 and 23, 2018. It could be an important opportunity for Italian businesses in related sectors. They will be able to present technological developments in the vast field of water resources during a commercial exhibition, which will run in parallel with the main event. The Italian Embassy in Brasilia has begun preparations with local institutions to support businesses taking part and present Italy's technology and know-how during the forum and in future. A series of meetings and events are planned with "Made in Italy" products and services taking centre stage. vel
