(VELINO) Roma, 7 Sep - An exhibition by Italian photographer Pier Alberto Cucino entitled "Roma-Caracas, semejanzas magicas" (Rome-Caracas: Magical Similarities) will open on Thursday, 8 September at 6:30 p.m. at the Italian Cultural Institute (IIC) in Caracas. The exhibition features around 70 images of the different "souls" of Rome and Caracas and will run until 8 October of this year. Cucino adopts various stylistic methods to highlight the chromatic similarities between the two cities, utilising techniques such as lomography, simple details, and oil photography. During the exhibition, the IIC will also host numerous cultural events dedicated to Rome, including a film cycle every Wednesday in September and the lecture "Roma: La ciudad de las calles que se bifurcan" (a reference to writer Jose' Luis Borges), sponsored by Italian Ambassador Silvio Mignano. vel
