(VELINO) Roma, 23 Aug - The Italian Cultural Institute (IIC) in Amsterdam will launch "Italian with Gusto" on 21 September, an innovative language course for the new season that combines the joy of learning a language with that of tasting delicious food. Every Wednesday and Thursday, lessons will be held during the lunch break over a nice plate of pasta. The IIC offers two course levels for a total of 10 lessons, which can be bought individually or as a package. In order to present the initiative and its many other Italian language course formats, the IIC has scheduled an Open Day on 3 September , during which it will offer trial lessons, provide information, and organise meetings with teachers and tastings of pasta dishes for lunch, accompanied by musical interludes. The enlisted students will take part in a draw for a two-day stay for two people in an exclusive resort in Italy, organisers announced. Besides the innovative "Italian with Gusto" course, the IIC offers an interesting programme for the year including a number of special courses for intermediate and advanced students, such as the literature course with a reading of Niccolo' Ammanniti's book "Io e te". Others options include: "L'Italia dal fascismo ad oggi: percorsi paralleli nella storia, nella letteratura e nel cinema" (Italy from Fascism to Today: parallel paths in history, literature and cinema), by Giulia Cartini; "Viva il cinema", which teaches Italian through the cinema; "Parole Parole Parole", teaching Italian through songs; the book club - "Un libro al mese" (A book a month); "Sulle tracce di Dante Alighieri" ("On the traces of Dante Alighieri"), a journey into Italy at Dante's time; and the pronunciation coaching course. vel
