(VELINO) Roma, 7 Jul - Maarten van Aalderen will present his new book entitled 'Talenti d'Italia' on July 12 at the Italian Cultural Institute (7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.). In his new book, Maarten Van Aalderen, a correspondent for the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, narrates the stories of 21 artists, entrepreneurs, inventors, scientists, researchers and sports champions who share their feelings about Italy, combining strong motivations and international recognitions. The author will engage in a conversation with Philip Willan, president of the Associazione Stampa Estera in Italia [the Foreign Press Association in Italy]. Maarten van Aalderen is currently the vice president of the Associazione Stampa Estera in Italia, an organisation founded in 1912, which offers services and assistance to foreign correspondents based in Italy. Philip Willan has been living and working in Rome for more than 30 years, and is currently the president of the Association. He is the author of several publications on Italian and Vatican politics, and regularly writes for The Times and The Sunday Herald. vel
