(VELINO) Roma, 20 Jun - Italian composer, conductor and pianist Ezio Bosso is considered one of Europe's leading composers and artists. He made his de'but in France as a soloist and studied composition and conducting at the Academy of Vienna, where he worked with several European orchestras. His new album, "The 12th Room", displays his greatest passion: the piano. The album has become one of the most popular in Italy, rising to first place in the iTunes chart and winning a gold disc for 50,000 sales. With the release of "The 12th Room", Ezio Bosso has made his recording de'but as a piano soloist and will present this album for the first time in Berlin on 26 June at the Radialsystem from 8 to 10 p.m. The official release on CD (Sony Classical) will be on 7 July in Germany. He said: "The piano allowed music to stay in my life and has brought me back to life, a life with music, for music and full of music. Music has been with me every step of the way, giving me a wonderful life, even if tomorrow were the last day." In 2011, Ezio Bosso was diagnosed with a progressive neuro-degenerative disease which forced him to temporarily abandon concerts. He has had treatments and intensive exercises to try to regain some of his motor skills. This album marks a new chapter in his musical life. It describes his exploration of the spaces within us, because Bosso is amazed to find that everyone has 12 internal spaces in their life. Only when the 12th space is reached can we start again. The artist has managed to transpose this concept into music by ssing his own compositions and works by great musicians including Bach, Chopin and Gluck. vel
