(VELINO) Roma, 16 May - Italian cinema takes centre stage in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with the presentation of the book "Participacao italiana no cinema brasileiro" by professor Maximo Barro at the Italian Cultural Institute on 24 May. The book is a non-fictional biography of Italians working in the cinema in Brazil. After a brief historical introduction on the nature of Italian immigration in the Latin American country and especially in Sao Paulo, the book narrates how immigrants are engaged in the arts sector, both as professionals and amateurs, and especially in the world of the cinema.
