(VELINO) Roma, 5 May - Italy will take centre stage at the International Book Fair of Buenos Aires on 6 May. During the day dedicated to the Country, writer Alessandro Baricco will have a chat on his literary production with Alberto Manguel, writer and director of the National Library of Argentina. Baricco will present "La sposa giovane", his latest novel translated into Spanish. The Fair, now at its 43rd edition, runs from 27 April to 15 May, also with the support of the Italian Embassy and Cultural Institute (IIC) in Buenos Aires. In addition to Baricco, this year Italy presented another guest of honour: politician, writer and film producer Walter Veltroni who presented his latest book "Senza Patricio". Italy is present at the Fair with a national stand, which presents the latest editorial releases and provides information on language courses, cultural activities and scholarships. vel
