(VELINO) Roma, 10 Mar - Italy was at centre stage at Guadalajara's COME Festival. The Festival, now at its third edition, is Mexico's most important event showcasing gastronomy, both traditional and vanguard. Italy, together with the State of Puebla, was invited as guest of honour. Italian Ambassador to Mexico, Luigi Maccotta, took part in the inauguration together with the Minister of Tourism of the State of Jalisco, Enrique Ramos, the Minister of Economic Development, Jose' Palacios Jime'nez, and the Minister of Tourism of the State of Puebla, Roberto Antonio Trauwitz Echeguren. On the day after the opening, the Italian Ambassador also met with several representatives of the Italian community in Guadalajara and members of the Comites. He also visited the offices of the Dante Alighieri Society and the Palacio de la Cultura y la Comunicacion (PALCCO), where he was received by the president and founder Jose' Pe'rez Ramirez and by the Art Director, Leonardo Gasparini. vel
