Brussels - Italian writer Diego De Silva will be in Brussels on May 3 to present his book 'Raccontare Napoli' [Narrating Naples].The event organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels in association with the Campania Region, is part of the "Campania!" initiative.
In 2001, De Silva published with Einaudi his novel 'Certi bambini', shortlisted for the Campiello Prize, which was later made into a movie, directed by the Frazzi brothers. Einaudi published also other works by De Silva: 'La donna di scorta' (2001), 'Voglio guardare' [I Want to Watch] (2002 and 2008), 'Da un'altra carne' (2004 and 2009), 'Non avevo capito niente' [I Hadn't Understood] (2007 and 2010, winner of Premio Napoli, finalist at Premio Strega), 'Mia suocera beve' [My Mother-in-Law Drinks] (2010 and 2012), 'Sono contrario alle emozioni' (2011 and 2013), 'Mancarsi' (2013), 'Terapia di coppia per amanti'(2015). His books have been translated into English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese and Greek. The event has been organised in cooperation with the Turin Book Fair.
