Pizzo Calabro (Vibo Valentia) - "There are stories that have been handed down for more than 100 years and over 5 generations". This is the 'teaser' that launches the "Family Stories" project, the web series devised by Callipo that uses storytelling as a means to convey the company's most inner soul. The project includes 10 videos which, from 26 June until the end of December will become an unmissable, thrilling appointment for those wishing to discover the stories enclosed within the walls of the Callipo factory where, for more than 100 years, around 30 tons of tuna have processed each day.
The videos will be broadcast on the YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnE8RIoJclDKqxaliw9W6BA), on the Facebook page with a community of more than 57,000 fans (https://www.facebook.com/tonnocallipo/) and on the company's website. The first story is dedicated to Vincenzo Mazzotta, head of production at the Callipo site who started his career in the company at just 16. An extended "family" welcomed, trained and helped him mature into the person who today now holds a highly significant position within the company. His work requires a spirit of sacrifice, commitment, energy and passion that he shares with his wife, Caterina on a daily basis, she too a member of the extended Callipo family.
Each episode of the web series, devised by the Callipo marketing & communications dept. and produced by Rosario Panzitta and Andrea Aragona's CowProject.it, also tells the stories of employees' families, from which emerge moments of conviviality and shared team spirit which have always been this company's founding values. "Our workforce has always been the pulsating heart of the company and they play a leading role in "Callipo's quality".
Human resources are an integral part of our enterprise project and they are familiar with the history of our family handed down over five generations from father to son, sharing values, the vocation to "quality above all", success and goals to be achieved. Precisely for this reason they are the best testimonials that provide a simple but creative way of conveying the experience lived each day as part of our extended family" declared the sole director, Pippo Callipo.
