(AGI) Algiers, Feb 25 - Three major oilfields have beendiscovered in Algeria, said the interim CEO of Algerian energycompany Sonatrach, Said Sahnoun. The oilfields are in thecentral-eastern province of Ouargla, central Ghardaia districtand central-western region of El Bayadh, he announced duringcelebrations of the 40th anniversary of the nationalisation ofthe nation's oil industry. Preliminary investigations show apotential production capacity of 3,000-4,000 barrels of oil aday. (AGI) . .
