(AGI) Rome, Sept 10 - Italian Undersecretary for EconomicAffairs Giovanni Legnini is thought to be in the running forelection to the Supreme Council of the Magistracy. Extremelyhighly thought-of on both sides of parliament, Legnini could beone of the centre-left Democratic Party (PD) candidates forvice president. Other nominees for the PD's five out of eightrequisite lay members of the council are Giovanni Fiandaca,Ilaria Pagni and Cinzia Capano. The liberal and centrist CivicChoice (CS) party is putting forward Renato Balduzzi, and theNew Centre-Right (NCD) party Antonio Leone. . .
