(AGI) Brussels, July 22 - Europe needs to strengthen theincentives for reforms, Italian Economy Minister Pier CarloPadoan told the European Parliament presenting the politicalagenda of the Italian EU presidency. "For reforms to beimplemented it is necessary to strengthen the incentives to putthem in place," Mr Padoan said, specifying that his agendafocuses on integrating economic polices, structural reforms andinvestments. He then added: "It is necessary for rules to beinterpreted and applied as best one can for them to facilitatestructural reforms. It is not a matter of changing the rulesbut simply of using them in the best way." . .
