(AGI) Brussels, Sept 12 - European employment rates are slowlygrowing, reported Eurostat on Friday. Employment rose 0.2percent in the second quarter of the year in the eurozone and0.3 percent in the 28-member EU. Employment grew 0.1 percent inthe eurozone and 0.2 percent in the EU in the first quarter ofthe year, and 0.4 percent and 0.7 percent respectively in thesecond quarter of last year. The number of workers with jobswas 224.9 million in the EU at the end of June and 146.5million in the eurozone. (AGI) . .
