Meridiana makes 1, 634 staff redundant

(AGI) Olbia, Sept 15 - The boards of Meridiana Fly andMeridiana Maintenance have agreed to accelerate staff cuts andfleet changes. A communique was issued to the unions andrelevant institutions on Monday, confirming that redundancyprocedures had begun in relation to 1,478 employees consideredsurplus to Meridiana Fly requirements.
