Italy's Renzo Piano designs Los Angeles cinema museum
(AGI) Los Angeles, June 26 - Los Angeles will finally have itscinema museum, after the city council on Wednesday approved thedesign of Italian architect Renzo Piano for a temple to film inthe cinema city. The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures willcover an area of almost 90,000 square metres and will alsoencompass the historic May Company building, built by Albert C.Martin and completed in 1939.
