Italy and Algeria to hold economic forum in Milan

(AGI) Algiers, Mar 19 - Algeria and Italy will hold an economicforum on Mar. 25 in Milan, announced Algerian Minister ofIndustry and Mining, Abdesselam Bouchouareb. The Algeriandelegation will include 30 businessmen led by the president ofthe Forum of Entrepreneurs, Ali Haddad. The conference will beheld at the headquarters of the northern industrialists'association Assolombarda, said the newspaper Ennahar. Economicrelationships between the countries have developed recentlywith the signing of several agreements, including one betweenDanieli and the Algerian-Qatari joint venture AQS to build theBellara steel complex and a venture between Ducati and Elec elDjazair. Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi visited Algeria onDec. 2, before formalising an agreement to sell Lucchinisteelworks in Piombino, central Italy, to Algeria's Cevitalgroup. (AGI) . .
