Italian firms win Trans Adriatic pipeline contracts
(AGI) Rome, Oct 16 - Two Italian firms have won three contractsfor work on the Trans Adriatic Pipeline. Industria MeccanicaBassi of San Rocco al Porto won contracts for 48 and 36 inchT-joints and welded curves and for scraper traps for"intelligent" inspection and cleaning devices. The T-jointsconnect the pipeline to check valves and compressor stationsand the scraper traps allow the pipeline to be cleaned andchecked.
