(AGI) Athens, Feb 23 - Greece sent the EU a plan on Monday witha list of commitments to the required reforms, which will beevaluated by the EU Commission, ECB and IMF. The plan includesmeasures to combat tax evasion, corruption, and forprivatisation and public administration reform. The listincludes 2.5 billion euros of taxes on large estates andoligarchs, another 2.5 billion euros from tax recoveries and2.3 billion euros from the fight against the smuggling ofpetrol and cigarettes. The three institutions will have todetermine later on Monday whether the plan is in line with theagreements on the extension of loans, or whether a newEurogroup meeting should be called. If the reform programme isapproved, the three institutions will pay the remaining trancheof 7.3 billion euros of the 240 billion-euro bailout in Apriland the ECB will accept Greek bonds as collateral for fundingthe country's banks. The European Commission "has not yetreceived any list" of commitments by the Greek governmentfollowing the agreement reached last Friday by the Eurogroup,clarified spokeswoman Mina Andreeva after rumours circulated onMonday morning. "The agreed deadline for sending the list byGreece is the end of the day, that is midnight," she said. Whenit arrives, she added, the Commission will make an initialevaluation to decide whether it is consistent with theEurogroup statement and whether the commitments will enableinstitutions (the former troika) to conclude their review ofthe aid programme. . .
