(AGI) Rome, Sept 18 - European stock markets closed on anupturn following Wall Street's performance, which was spurredby the Fed's decision to leave rates down for a considerableamount of time. London's FTSE 100 rose 0.57 percent to 6,819.20points, while the CAC 40 in Paris gained 0.75 percent to4,464.70 points. The FTSE MIB in Milan rose 0.08 percent to21,128.72 points and the Ibex in Madrid picked up 0.77 percentto 10,991.0 points. Frankfurt performed best gaining 1.41percent to 9,789.13 points due to Bayer, which rose 5.89percent after the company's announcement of a possible listingon the stock market of their plastic materials division. . .
