(AGI) Rome, Sept 19 - European markets opened markedly higheron Friday, with investors relieved by the Scottish independencereferendum coming out against Scottish independence, but fellduring the session and closed mixed, affected further byrumours of an imminent downgrading of France's rating. Paris'sCac 40 dropped by 0.08 percent 4,461.22 points. The FTSE MIB inMilan closed with the worst results of the day, down 0.74percent to 20,972.35 points. Frankfurt's Dax closed stable, up0.01 percent at 9,799.26 points. The Madrid Ibex rose timidlyby 0.1 percent to 11,001.9 points following confirmation that areferendum will be
