(AGI) Brussels, March 9 - The President of the Eurogroup,Jeroen Dijsselbloem, announced after a Eurogroup meeting onMonday that "discussions between the Greek authorities and theinstitutions must and will start as of Wednesday". "We agreedthat discussions with the institutions will take place inBrussels. In parallel, as needed, technical teams from theinstitutions will be welcomed in Athens," he added. Though thepossibility of a "Grexit" is now distant, Dijsselbloem saidGreece cannot back out of its commitment towards reforms inorder to receive its bailout funds. There can be "no talk ofdisbursement if there is no implementation", he affirmed, butsaid he would be open to the possibility of splitting the loanin various portions once Greece begins implementing reforms.Italy's Minister of Economy and Finance, Pier Carlo Padoan,said of the scheduled Eurogroup talks on Wednesday that "we areon the right track, but we must hurry because there's littletime".
