(AGI) Rome, Sept 11 - The euro closed marginally up on Thursdayat 1.2945 dollars and 138.11 yen, after hitting a two-monthhigh against the Japanese currency of 138.50. Recentdisappointing economic figures slowed the surge of thegreenback, which however touched a six-year high of 107.19against the yen. Indeed, investors expect Tokyo to launchfurther monetary stimulus measures to revive the economy. Oneeuro was worth 0.7970 pounds sterling, while thedollar-to-pound rate was 1.6238. (AGI) . .
