His words came from a video sent toan event organised by Italian energy giant Eni at the ExpoMilano 2015 on Monday, shown at Casa Corriere during theNAOC/Green River Project Farmers Day. Mr Buhari assuredNigerian farmers that his government intends to give themcontinuous support at all times. The Green River Project is amulti-year integrated project that was initiated in 1987 and isaimed at supporting agricultural development in the fourNigerian states in which the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC)operates: Imo, Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa. Since itsimplementation, the Green River Project has directly involvedover 35,000 farmers in 120 communities, directly and indirectlyaffecting more than half a million people. (AGI) . .
