(AGI) Rome, Oct 14 - The priority for multinational gas and oilcompany Eni is to finalise its Egyptian project and getapproval, said CEO Claudio Descalzi. Egypt needed the gas fromthe newly-discovered Zohr field as soon as possible, he saidwhile attending a Senate hearing. On the issue of partners hesaid: "The other things can wait, they are not as urgent or asnecessary." He denied rumours that the U.S. had warned severalgovernments and companies about returning to Tehran too soon."No warnings have ever been received.
