(AGI) Rome, Oct 26 - Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS) feelspenalised by the way the European Central Bank ran the stresstests, the Siena-based bank said in a long statement publishedon Sunday. "The outcome of the test applied to the bank, whichhas recently implemented the reorganisation plan approved bythe European Commission, was penalised by the way theComprehensive Assessment was made", the statement said. Itcontinued: "The results of the Comprehensive Assessment testconfirmed the soundness of the bank's asset structure, whichabsorbed the impact of the asset quality review thanks to thecapital increase of June 2014." . .
